2016 Part 2 - A look back at some more wonderful weddings.
Posted on January 26th 2017
So here it is as promised, the 2nd half of 2016 in review. Lots of beautiful couples, stunning weddings and pretty awesome cake orders. The 2nd half of the year was jammed packed with weddings with little room for anything else (just how I like it).
I shall jump right in with one of my favorite painted wedding cakes of last year. This cake was very me with its vintage styling, muted colours, beautiful blooms and bones! In fact Suzanne and Piet created a stunning wedding and I will be giving them their own blog post with loads more lovely photo's soon. But for now here is three to wet your appetite.
Next I had two weddings in one day again. One a very precious Sugared Rose family wedding and another for Laura and Lee at the stunning Tutbury Castle.
Unfortuately I can't find my hi-res photo's at the castle for Laura and Lee's yellow, ivory and silver cake, only ones I took before it went on its way. So here are the largest ones I have.
Now onto the hotest day of the year (well it felt like it to me!) and a vintage pink and pearl wedding cake for Chelsea and Duncan.
Then a lovely little mid week wedding for Amy back at the Carriage Hall, which is where we started the year!
We are getting in to August now and this time a trip to the Bueatiful Hospitium in York for Deni and her pale blue, cream and yellow cake.
Gayle and Paul had a beautiful little wedding at Maison Mesamis in Chesterfield with a cupcake tower and Birdcage style cake in muted pinks and ivory.
