A blush, bloom filled Chesterfield Wedding at Maison Mesamis for Gayle & Paul.

Posted on March 16th 2017

Maison Mesamis was a bit of a hidden jewel. I met Gayle and Paul there for our first wedding cake consultation and wow what a stunner it is inside. I had a really lovely meeting as the couple were so charming and made me feel so at ease. Gayle very much wanted to base her colour pallet and ideas on the wonderful painted elements around the bar area which is why we had met at the venue and then on the day even her painted table plan matched the decor as the same artist had completed that for her - just brilliant.

The cake itself was a clear design idea from Gayle. A birdcage style with lots of flowers and a little piping work. Then another elements, making sure it was easy to serve. ThisĀ  gave a lovely display as the couple as they also opted for cupcakes decorated to match the topper cake. The flavours for the cupcakes included: Lemon, chocolate and vanilla whilst the main cake was a vanilla tower.

The staff at Maison Mesamis were a terrific help as I had many, many boxes with me and there was plenty going on when I arrived for me to drool over and get snap happy with a camera. I would also recommend if you are ever in Chesterfield you should pop in for a lovely lunch as their menu sounded amazing!

Well that's it for today another short and sweet post but below is some more loads of photo's for you that I took of all the elements Gayle created and put together with the staff at Maison Mesamis.

With love,

Sarah xx
