Rosie contacted me way back in 2014 looking for someone who created painted cakes. As you know I love painting cakes and it's fast becoming my favourite type of cake to create as it combines all my loves. We did a lot of work together making sure all the design elements she wanted on the cake were there and the colours matched in with her ideas. Swallows were a key element and I love painting birds so it was truly a win-win for me. Also with the Alice In Wonderland theme I couldnt help myself and included a couple little rabbits on the cake too.

The cake was a three tier cake in ivory with hand painted swallows, 3D personalised banner and some little additional friends. Flavours included: Lemon drizzle, vanilla and chocolate.

Rosie and Chris married in May last year at Wooton Park in Wooton Wawen near Henley-In-Arden and It was a little overcast when I arrived but I was glad to see it brighten by the time that I left.  The couple had been able to have access the night before to decorate so everywhere was looking pretty finished when I arrived. The venue at that time was a relatively new wedding venue and the staff were brilliant and so accommodating helping bring the cake in and letting me run riot with my camera!
