Our Vintage Hire Service is here!

Posted on August 31st 2014

It’s been a long time in the making but it's finally here!

It's strange what idea's you happen upon when planning your own wedding. Our wedding was nearly 6 years in the making (Life rather got in the way for a while) and during that time our loft, living room, kitchen, bedroom and every spare bit of cupboard space became the home for our love of antiques and vintage items and my obsession with vintage china.

So it soon became apparent we would be having a vintage wedding and as I couldn't bear to part with any of my collections why not share the 'vintage love' and hire them out to future brides and grooms.

As well as all types of vintage style cake stand and tiered vintage china cakestands, we are now in a position to hire out enough complete vintage place settings (cutlery, babycham glass, mini milk bottle, dinner plate, cake plate, teacup and saucer) for up to 60 persons and have a large aount of ever growning stock vintage props including books, suitcases, vintage glass bottles, milk churns and chalkboards.

So hop on our to our new Vintage Hire section to find out more details about what we have and what maybe you could use!

Christmas Wishes xxx

It's been a busy old year here at The Sugared Rose HQ with some ups and plenty of downs. But I wanted to end the year with some positive loveliness and who doesn't love a touch of Christmas? So I thought I share a few photos from a very christmassey shoot we took part in for Elens Wedding Photography and Thomasina Brides.

2017 so far in pictures

Posted on August 24th 2017

I had a little look around the site today and was very ashamed to see that I had not completed a blog post since April! All these promises of regular posts and updates and I have yet again failed and let life get in the way (oops!). So I thought as I am still in the midst of a very hectic season and spending a hour or so on every wedding to post is not on the cards right now (unfortunately), I would just post a quick photo filled run down of 2017 so far.
