I had been looking forward this wedding for over a year having first met the lovely Teal in September 2014 at a Vintage Chic Wedding fair. This day has seemed on the horison for me for such a long time that I am somewhat sad that it has now passed, but extremely happy I got to make such a fun wedding cake. A huge thank you to Teal and Phill for making it happen and an even bigger congratulations again guys!

To say I was excited for this wedding to finally arrive is a bit of an understatement. The excitement from Lindsey and Sarah when I first met them was infectious and this was the case with every consultation, meeting and email. Every natter was full of love and even laughter and these guys shared every detail making me feel very privileged to take part in somehting so special even in just this little way.

I am sorry it has been a while, wedding season has rather kicked my butt a bit this year and I am finally catching up. However what a wedding to get back into full swing with though!
As a taster before I really begin here are a couple of Instagram photo's of this wedding and wedding prep from the other weekend:

I actually met Aimee and her mother first at a wedding fair last year. We had a good old natter and at times a bit of a laugh. Aimee had loved a birdcage cake I had on display and other than increasing it in size and changing the colour to suit their special day it was exactly what she was after.
So together we came up with the required size, style and colours and their cake was three flavors including lemon, chocolate and vanilla with some gluten and nut free chocolate and vanilla mini cakes to match.
