So I have been to a few vintage wedding fairs, mainly as a bride-to-be and this was my first as an exhibitor post wedding and the culmination of amazing suppliers, wonderful brides and grooms to be and a just beautiful setting has actually just made me want to get hitched all over again - but don’t worry Mr Sugared Rose I won’t put you through that stress again.

Today's real wedding is such a beauty!
Vicky and Chris first contacted me back in 2013 but then as it always does, time flew by and from well over a year to the wedding all of a sudden it was a couple of months away. Vicky then contacted me to say their colour scheme had changed quite a bit and so had their ideas for the sugar decorations for their cake design.

It’s been a long time in the making but it's finally here!
It's strange what idea's you happen upon when planning your own wedding. Our wedding was nearly 6 years in the making (Life rather got in the way for a while) and during that time our loft, living room, kitchen, bedroom and every spare bit of cupboard space became the home for our love of antiques and vintage items and my obsession with vintage china.

So here we are.. our very first blog post for our brand new and very lovely website (Thank you Katherine Cory!) it's just a little one though as today's post is really just a tiny wave hello and welcome :)
So what have we been getting up to? Here at The Sugared Rose HQ we have had a fairly hectic summer that has been filled with collecting beautiful things to launch our Vintage Hire Service (coming soon) and of course a countdown for our lovely new website and not forgetting, getting hitched ourselves!
